Dear Socium clients,
Although Covid-19 restrictions remain in place throughout the UK, we would like to assure you that we are continuing to operate a full range of mental health home care services. However the safety of our clients and staff remains our highest priority. We regularly review our policies and procedures in line with government advice and legislation in order to keep the risks of Covid-19 transmission as low as possible.
We do understand that some clients will still have concerns about staff visiting their homes, so we will take the following precautions:
- All staff will be issued with an appropriate stock of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Our clinical staff will be accompanied by a medical box which always includes masks, gloves, aprons, face shields, hand sanitiser and a digital infrared thermometer.
- We will try to make sure, where possible, that all our clinical staff are double vaccinated.
- We will ask our staff to sanitise their hands and take their temperature before entering your house.
- We will ask our staff to take weekly lateral flow tests.
